After leaving the city, the road climbs into the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. This scenic route offers mountain villages, winding roads, panoramic viewpoints, and a dramatic change from Marrakech’s red city atmosphere to southern Morocco’s mountain landscapes.

The journey continues toward Aït Ben Haddou, a famous fortified village known for its earthen architecture, towers, and historic caravan route setting. This stop gives travelers a first strong connection with Morocco’s southern heritage.
