Day 1: Arrival in Agadir

Your Moroccan adventure begins with a pickup from Agadir Al Massira Airport or your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore some of Agadir’s highlights, including the modern city, the beach promenade or Souk El Had.

For a panoramic introduction to the city, you can also visit the historic Agadir Oufella overlooking the Atlantic. Enjoy a relaxed first evening before beginning your journey through Morocco.

Day 2: Agadir – Marrakech

After breakfast, leave Agadir and travel inland toward Marrakech. The journey passes through landscapes of argan trees and rural villages before reaching the famous Red City.

Upon arrival, meet your local guide and begin exploring the historic medina. Depending on the sightseeing schedule, you can visit Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and Koutoubia Mosque before continuing toward the traditional souks.

As evening approaches, experience the atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna, where food stalls, musicians and performers bring the famous square to life.

Day 3: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat

Leave Marrakech after breakfast and continue north toward Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city. Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, dramatically positioned beside the Atlantic Ocean.

Continue to Rabat, the political capital of Morocco. Explore the historic Kasbah of the Oudayas, Hassan Tower and the surrounding historic quarters before settling into your accommodation for the evening.

Day 4: Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, travel north toward the Rif Mountains and the famous blue city of Chefchaouen.

Upon arrival, explore the medina’s narrow streets, blue-painted houses and small artisan shops. Continue toward Ras El-Ma spring and, if time allows, walk up toward the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views over the blue city.

Enjoy a relaxed evening in Chefchaouen’s atmospheric medina.

Day 5: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Leave Chefchaouen in the morning and travel toward the ancient Roman site of Volubilis. Explore the archaeological ruins and impressive mosaics before continuing to Meknes.

In Meknes, discover the historic medina and landmarks such as Bab Mansour before continuing to Fes.

Arrive in Fes in the evening and check into your accommodation.

Day 6: Guided Tour of Fes

Spend the day discovering Fes el-Bali, one of Morocco’s most fascinating medieval medinas. With a local guide, walk through the maze of narrow streets and explore the city’s historic architecture and traditional crafts.

Visit important landmarks and viewpoints, explore the famous leather tanneries and discover the souks filled with ceramics, leather, spices, textiles and other Moroccan handicrafts.

The afternoon can be adapted according to your interests, leaving time to explore the medina independently or relax at your riad.

Day 7: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga

After breakfast, leave Fes and travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture and mountain setting, before continuing toward Azrou.

In the cedar forests around Azrou, you may have the opportunity to see Barbary macaques. Continue through the mountain landscapes toward Midelt before descending toward the Ziz Valley and southeastern Morocco.

By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga and prepare for your camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Ride across the golden sand as the sun sets before reaching your desert camp.

Day 8: Merzouga Desert Exploration

Wake early to experience sunrise over the Sahara before returning to camp for breakfast.

Today is dedicated to exploring the desert region around Merzouga. Travel by 4×4 through the surrounding landscapes and visit a nomadic family to learn about traditional desert life.

Continue to Khamlia, a village famous for its Gnawa musical heritage, and explore the surrounding desert and oasis landscapes. Optional activities such as sandboarding or quad biking can be arranged depending on your interests.

Return to your desert accommodation and enjoy another evening beneath the Sahara sky.

Day 9: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

Leave Merzouga after breakfast and travel west through the landscapes of southeastern Morocco. Continue toward Todra Gorges, where dramatic limestone cliffs tower above the narrow valley.

After exploring the gorge, continue through the Dades Valley and its striking rock formations before following the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward Ouarzazate.

Arrive in Ouarzazate in the evening and enjoy a relaxing final night in southern Morocco.

Day 10: Ouarzazate – Aït Ben Haddou – Taroudant – Agadir

Your final day begins with a visit to Aït Ben Haddou, the famous fortified ksar and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through its historic passages and admire the traditional earthen architecture that has appeared in numerous film and television productions.

Continue toward Taroudant, often known for its impressive ochre-colored walls and traditional souks. From Taroudant, continue west toward Agadir through the Souss Valley and argan-growing countryside.

Arrive in Agadir in the late afternoon or evening, bringing your 10-day Morocco tour from Agadir to an end.
